Gregg Allman has been confirmed as one of the Classic Rock stage headliners!
"Gregg Allman is a legendary figure in American music. He was a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, who defined the soulful sound of southern rock on iconic albums such as At Fillmore East (1971) and Eat A Peach (1972). As a solo artist, he has made a string of acclaimed albums, including 2011’s Low Country Blues, which reached number five on the US Billboard chart. Allman was inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2006, and in November 2014 he is to receive the Living Legend award at the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour event in Los Angeles. Millions of Top Gear fans around the world will recognise The Allman Brothers Song “Jessica” as the programmes theme tune.
